"Kuro Neko" clock pigtail

$25.00
sold out

if you want to replace your Sport Chrono clock with a VDO clock you need a pigtail adapter to connect the blade connectors on the back of the VDO clock to the Porsche 6-pin wiring harness for the Sport Chrono clock. You need +12V, Ground, and Illumination.

This connector does exactly that. It connects to the Sport Chrono harness and provides 12V (red), Ground (black) and Illumination (green).

This is inspired by the thread https://rennlist.com/forums/987-forum/1121699-cayman-dash-clock-options.html on Rennlist, courtesy of the original poster “Kuro Neko”

Please note that this includes only the pigtail, NOT the clock!

This fits 997.1, 997.2, 987.1, 987.2 and (maybe!) 991 and 981 (the connectors look the same), but no guarantee here.

WARNING: This is confirmed to work with VDO clocks. A customer with a replacement clock, which was not made by VDO reported back that the illumination in his (non VDO) replacement clock draws too much power and negatively affected the illumination on his dashboard when plugged in.
